Job Description
Strategic Leadership
- Evaluate organizational performance against annual budgets and long-term business strategies. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational insights and deliver actionable recommendations for strategy and execution.
- Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring:
- Preparation of strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Financial viability and structuring of business transactions.
- Implementation of robust management information systems (MIS).
- Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support growth initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and long-term value creation.
- Collaborate with audit and investment committees on emerging issues, market trends, and changes in operational and financial models.
Treasury Management & Fundraising
- Lead end-to-end fundraising initiatives across private equity, family offices, banks, and NBFCs, aligned with the organization’s growth strategy.
- Personally engage with CFOs, credit heads, and senior decision-makers at banks and NBFCs to raise funds, negotiate terms, and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Drive institutional funding initiatives, including:
- Collaboration with private equity investors and family offices to enhance capital availability.
- Structuring debt and equity instruments to ensure optimal capital mix.
- Ensuring adequate credit limits, liquidity planning, and cash flow visibility to support AUM and business growth.
Stakeholder Representation
- Act as the primary financial spokesperson for the organization with investors, private equity firms, family offices, mutual funds, banks, NBFCs, FIIs, family Offices debenture trustees, registrars, brokers, intermediaries, and media.
- Build and sustain strong stakeholder confidence through transparent communication, timely reporting, and credit readiness.
Rating Agency & Lender Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with rating agencies to secure and sustain credit ratings aligned with fundraising and growth objectives.
- Lead rating reviews, data submissions, and interactions with agencies, lenders, and trustees.
Financial Management, Reporting & Control
- Oversee all finance and accounting operations, ensuring efficient processes, accuracy, and high-quality outputs.
- Lead basic to advanced financial reporting, MIS, and financial analysis, enabling informed decision-making by leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analysing and reporting variances effectively.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and tax laws.
- Strengthen internal controls by developing and documenting business processes, accounting policies, and governance frameworks.
- Lead and mentor the accounts and finance department, ensuring capability building, performance discipline, and operational excellence.
- Prepare and present the analysis of the quarterly financial results to the board.

Educational Qualification
CA, or MBA (Finance) from a premier institute (preferably an IIM), with 8+ years of experience in financial services or senior finance roles.
Experience
Experience at the Director level in a Big 4 firm, or comparable senior leadership experience within an industry-focused organization, will be preferred.
