Job Description

  • Credit assessment and underwriting of loan applications based on financial, business and industrial risk, end to end from initiation to disbursal of loans.
  • Appraising loan applications for credit worthiness ensuring adherence to KYC norms, credit bureau assessment and financials.
  • Preparing credit notes to enable recommendations to assist the sanctioning authority for higher exposure in the decision making process.
  • Responding to the queries raised by the sanctioning authority from time to time and fulfilling their requirements.
  • Analysis of the financial statements of the prospective clients to identify the short term & long term solvency & liquidity position.
  • Coordination with advocates, valuers and other processing professionals.
  • Disbursal of loans including all checks and verification. Coordinating post approval activities encompassing documentation, account opening, disbursement, loan postponements, rehabilitation & restructuring etc.
  • Ensure timely adherence to compliance’s of the banks.
  • Represent the company to the outside world, including lending partners, board of directors & other strategic alliances. Develop strong internal and external relationships.
  • Develop and maintain credit risk strategy and policy by continuous analysis of business and collection trends, risk assessment & mitigation thereof.
  • Create credit and underwriting policies & processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring sound understanding of credit policy across all relevant levels.
  • Manage credit quality and control delinquencies and frauds. Monitoring the health of the portfolio at regular intervals.
  • Managing & leading teams for running successful Credit process operations & experience of developing procedures, service standards for business excellence.
  • Responsible for maintaining the processing TAT.
