Job Description

  1. RMS (Risk Management System):
  • Manage and monitor real-time risk exposure for clients in the Capital Market segment.
  • Define and implement risk parameters, including margins, exposure limits, VAR, MTM, etc.
  • Oversee limit setting, client risk profiling, and margin utilization.
  • Ensure timely margin collection, margin reporting, and adherence to exchange norms.
  • Monitor intraday risk, square-off processes, and margin shortfall actions.
  • Allocation reporting
  • Handle risk alerts, exceptions, and escalations effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SEBI, Exchanges).
  1. OMS (Order Management System):
  • Oversee order flow lifecycle (order placement, validation, execution, modification, cancellation).
  • Ensure smooth functioning and integration of OMS with RMS and exchange systems.
  • Coordinate with technology teams for system enhancements, issue resolution, and testing.
  • Monitor trade execution efficiency and system performance.
  • Handle OMS-related incidents, outages, and risk scenarios.
  1. Operations & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with exchange regulations (NSE/BSE) and internal risk policies.
  • Prepare and review MIS reports, risk dashboards, and audit reports.
  • Liaise with auditors, compliance teams, and regulators during audits and inspections.
  • Implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Coordinate with dealing desk, compliance, IT, and back-office teams.
  • Support business teams in client onboarding from a risk perspective.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on RMS/OMS processes.

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience in RMS/OMS operations in Capital Markets.
  • Strong knowledge of equity markets, margining systems, and risk frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with RMS & OMS platforms (e.g., Omnesys, NOW, ODIN, or similar).
  • Understanding of SEBI regulations and exchange compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate (preferably in Commerce/Finance)
  • NISM SORM certification

 

Experience Background

  • RMS operations / stock broking operations
